Breeders, rights owners

Breeders of protected plant varieties or biotechnology patent owners entrust SICASOV with managing their rights directly, or via an agent. They can also ask the company to manage their patented materials by licence or by proxy.

SICASOV manages about 3.900 varieties that belong to more than 150 different species on behalf of 360 public and private members or partners, in France and worldwide. Every French plant breeder can require SICASOV's services. SICASOV's intervention costs 3% to 5% of the collected license fees, depending on species.

Non-French plant breeders can also require SICASOV's services, either directly or through the agency of a representative if they have one.
